From Long Island New York, Gary is a third generation stylist and salon owner. With his business savvy and welcoming approach, Gary has become one of the most influential and successful salon and spa visionaries. With more than twenty years of experience Gary’s passion for color has provided an extensive clientele and set an example for all stylists. Having trained at Jingle’s, Redken 5th Avenue, Bumble and Bumble and specializing in Goldwell color Gary's expertise sets him apart. He focuses on taking a client’s individuality and combining his knowledge of color to create a unique look and style. Gary focuses on color, texturizing services, keratin complex, and extensions, while partnering with Lindsey Hill for cuts and shaping.

Jannina is a nail technician with over twenty years experience. She specializes in manicures, pedicures and nail enhancements. Jannina is expertly trained in LCN, Creative and other nail products. She continues to further her eductaion.

Having been raised and formally trained in Boston, Donna has taken the city's modern styles and techniques and implements them with each client. Donna has extensive training in Goldwell color and color correction, Rusk, Paul Mitchell, Jamison-Shaw of Atlanta, and Bumble and Bumble of New York. She has also furthered her career by becoming a Bumble and Bumble Network Educator for Avanti. Donna's goal with each client is to personalize the color and cut with precise detail. Analyzing her client's bone structure and lifestyle allows Donna to truly give the best look for her client, allowing one to "not only look their best, but feel their best, too!"

Since high school, Jake had dreams of getting into either physical therapy or occupational therapy because he wanted to make people feel good about themselves. He became one of the youngest EMTs in NJ at the age of 16. He moved to NC in January of '96 and transfered his certifications here. After 10 years on an ambulance and on disaster teams, Jake decided that it was time to move on. Through persuasion from friends and family, he decided to pursue massage therapy, attending Natural Touch School of Massage in Greensboro, with the intention of being the best. His impressive grades/certification scores, as well as high marks in peer critique, allowed him to accomplish just that. Jake accepted his position with Avanti in 2007, and now feels he is living his destiny. He specializes in Swedish (relaxation) massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Pre-Natal massage, Detox massage, and Hot Stone massage.

Lindsey attended the Toni and Guy Academy in Dallas, Texas for her education. She received further training from Aveda, Alteri Brothers, Goldwell, and Bumble and Bumble. Lindsey is currently specializing on personalized cuts. She focuses on creating cuts that accentuate her clients’ individuality and style.

Beverly received her esthetician license in skin care from The Fila Academy in High Point. She has also received further training in esthetics from The Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill. Beverly's duties as an esthetician include facials using critically acclaimed CosMedix products. Beverly also specializes in waxing, chemical peels, and makeup applications.

Amanda Pierce has an Associates Degree in Therapeutic Massage from DCCC (Davidson County Community College). She has also had extra training in Neuromuscular Therapy 1&2, Myofascial Massage and Medical Massage. Amanda is a N.C. Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. She performs swedish, deep tissue and hot stone massages. She has also had great results with migraines, lower back pain and sciatic pain. Amanda says she loves her job and helping people feel better. She finds her work extremely rewarding. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her friends, family, her other half and their two crazy basset hounds! Amanda also has a cosmetology degree from DCCC and is licensed for that as well. This allows her to be a part time esthetician. She provide facials and waxing in this area.

Jessica brings over 10 years of experience to Avanti. She graduated from GTCC with an A.A.S. in Cosmetology. Jessica is a firm believer in continuing her education and has attended classes/shows all over the country and Mexico. She has also worked as an educator for Goldwell, Schwarzkopf and Coppolla Keratin. You may have seen her a few years back on Fox's nationally televised show "Ambush Makeover", where she was featured as a colorist. Jessica enjoys helping her clients feel great about themselves. She is genuine and considers her clients as family. Whether it's a new color and style or a special occasion look you need, Jessica is sure to please.

Merinda was born and raised in Pleasant Garden. She began her education at Greensboro College, graduating in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration & Economics. Doing hair was always a passion for Merinda and she pursued that passion by graduating from the cosmetology school at GTCC in 2010. She went on to take specialized courses in Chemistry & Trichology, Logics Color, precision cutting classes by Vidal Sasoon & Matrix. Merinda has a very calming presence and prides herself on being able to make every client comfortable. She loves to create a personalized cut and color and to share her knowledge of styling so her guests can continue to enjoy their new look long after they leave her chair. Tracey graduated from Winston-Salem Barber School. She specializes in men's straight razor shaves and precision men's haircuts. Tracey truly has a passion in giving the whole shaving experience to her clients.

Carmen graduated from Alamance Community College in July of 2012. Hair has been her passion since she was a little girl. She is currently an assistant stylist at Avanti and is gaining experience with different techniques and styles. She believes that everyone is beautiful in their own ways and she desires to reveal her clients inward and outward beauty. She loves for people to feel comfortable and welcomed when they come in for a service.

Kenzie comes to Avanti with 8 years of experience and education, including Toni and Guy, Bumble and Bumble and Aveda. Being familiar with current hair trends and practicing classic techniques provides her clients with creative, custom, versatile styles. Kenzie prides herself on connecting and identifying with her clients and developing long-term relationships. In addition to her career, Kenzie enjoys traveling, cooking, raising Jetson and her urban farm.

B comes to Avanti with extended education and training with Paul Mitchell. He specializes in Keratin straightening treatments, make-up application, and natural nails. He believes that beauty comes from within and if he can bring out someone's inner beauty then he is doing his job correctly.

Ashley comes to Avanti with a specialty in facials and waxing. She brings a fresh approach to skin case and focuses on meeting her client's skin care needs and exceeding their expectations.

Christina graduated from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis and has been licensed for twelve years. She loves what she does and all of the great clients she gets to meet. Her passions are skin care and waxing. She enjoys when she can make her clients look and feel better and leave with glowing skin.

Laney received her extensive training and license from the Fila Academy. She then pursued further education with Paul Mitchel, Goldwell, Matrix, Coppolla and Aquage including cuts, color, straighteners and up-dos. She enjoys every aspect of hair, but specializes in color and up-dos. She loves to make her guests feel special for their events, whether it be a night on the town, a party, a prom, or their big wedding day. Her number one goal is to give her clients the confidence and the look they deserve and desire.
